Monday 13th February 2012 - Adelaide

Here are some photo's that we haven't put in before as I finally downloaded my iPhone!
Bushwalking in the Flinders
Thomas ans I at The Great Australian Bight
The kids near the coast where Giant Cuttlefish come to make babies!!! (Just out of Whyalla SA)
Our beautiful Charlotte in the Flinders Ranges
Ed and I in the Flinders Ranges. Happy Birthday Ed!

We had a very busy day at the Zoo and the Museum!
The Adelaide Zoo is great! There was a great variety of animals with some great facilities for the animals.  Of course the Pandas were beautiful! But my favourites were the old flamingos born in 1933 and 1947! Wow! As I told the girls you wouldn't be very pink if you were born in 1933! The kids also enjoyed the reptiles, the birds, seals and the Tapirs (Charlotte)

After a lunch in the city we walked to the South Australian Museum. It was fantastic! 4 floors of wonderful artefacts from the pacific region, a great display of Mawson and his expeditions, minerals, a dig of dinasaur bones (for the kids) a giant said that was 4 stories high and we also went to the 'Journey into the Abyss' exhibition. It showed sea creatures from the depths of the oceans in the deep darkness. Fascinating!
The kids were exhausted! Sharon had cooked us a lovely Spag Blog which finished the day off beautifully.
