It was a very good exhibition full of loads of local history, especially the local pioneers of the region was well as loads of information and stories about life on the land. They had stuff on driving, communications & rodeos. They also had a great exhibition of the RFDS. My favourite part was all the stories. There were heaps of them telling about peoples life in the bush. I really admire those pioneering people who kept going in such harsh conditions in the early days.
We also went to a show by this guy who did some bush poetry, horse tricks, singing with his guitar, dogs rounding up the bullocks and showed us the old fashioned way of harnessing up the bulls to cart a log. He was also a bit of a joker!
After a hamburger lunch there we hit the road after getting supplies heading for Birdsville.
