Monday 9th April 2012 Thredbo - Narooma

We packed up and decided to head for Charlottes Pass up at Perisher. When we got at to the Ranger Station we found out that it was 1 degree with very poor visibility so we decided to not drive up. Charlotte still wanted to have her photo taken.

We then drove into Jindabyne and had a late breakie before heading off towards the NSW south coast. I have never been there so I was keen to have a look. We descended over the Great Dividing Range along a steep road with lots of hairpin bends down to the coast. We then drove around some cute little towns along the coast with loads of pretty little bays to explore.

We stopped at a campground called The Congo. There was a river opening out to the ocean. It wasn't that big and as it was the school holidays it was quite full. Ed enjoyed a fish and the kids had a snorkel and a swim after lunch.

We stayed there till around 4pm and then we decided to move on as the weather appeared to be closing in. We made it as far as Narooma before we decided that the wind and rain were too much and we state din a cheap motel for the night. Warm showers were a welcome change as our hair looked very bad after days of beanie wearing!
