We followed Luna (the GPS) directions, which were confirmed with Gabs and Simon, and made our way through the city to the Port Melbourne Ferry Terminal as it bucketed down with rain. We joined a very long queue of cars waiting to board! We finally started to get onboard!
Loading in the rain
And now some views from the boat.......
I had the misfortune to start feeling a bit seedy after taking the kids upstairs for an activity so it was an average trip for me, however I survived! Ed and the kids were fine. We watched 3 movies and listened to some talks from a National Park Ranger and a wildlife rescuer who looks after lots of orphaned animals, especially Tasmanian Devils. It was a very long day on the boat and we were glad to be finally off it after such a long day. We stayed the night in a very average cabin at a caravan park - very orange and brown! The kids had a choice for dinner - and the chose KFC! We were too tired to argue!
