Wednesday 23rd February- Apollo Bay to Melbourne

After a good nights rest we departed Apollo Bay and continued down the Great Ocean Road towards Lorne. We had a short stop at Wye River (last time we were here 3 years ago we stayed with Lee & Michael at a house they rented). Further down the road we stopped for another walk which turned out to be a very steep climb up to a lookout! Our legs worked hard that day!

We had a brief stop in Lorne for a spot of shopping and a snack before moving onto the obligatory Great Ocean Road stop - the mecca for all surfers.....Bells Beach!

Off to Melbourne for some comfort in North Fitzroy care of Gabs and Simon. We are looking forward to catching up with them and my handsome nephews Luca, Alex & Evan.

Thanks to Luna (aka Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter) our GPS (Ed is not impressed with the name!) we made it to their house without paying any tolls!

Thanks to Helen & Graham (Simons parents) for storing our camper trailer and the car was stored at Gabs and Simons house! Happy Days!
